About Me

I am an assistant professor of history at Kean University located in Union, NJ. I teach a broad range of classes on modern European history, the Holocaust, and comparative genocide. I also am a nonresident Research Fellow at the National World War II Museum (New Orleans, LA) for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Before coming to Kean, I was the World War II Studies MA program lead at Arizona State University and an assistant teaching professor in history and Jewish Studies. I earned my Ph.D. in 2020 from the University of Colorado-Boulder where I studied under Dr. David Shneer (z"l) and Dr. David Ciarlo.

I am the author of Spaces of Treblinka: Retracing a Death Camp (available to purchase with the University of Nebraska Press), as well as 2 journal articles linked on my publications page, and a forthcoming chapter in the edited Routledge volume, The Eastern Front.
